In today's fast-paced world, accessing timely and quality healthcare services remains a significant challenge for many individuals, particularly those with mobility constraints or residing in remote areas. Traditional healthcare systems often struggle to meet the demand for appointments, resulting in long wait times and limited accessibility, with 40% of patients reporting dissatisfaction with appointment scheduling processes.

To better understand how our users currently manage appointments, I conducted interviews with clinic staff members from diverse healthcare settings. These interviews aimed to uncover their existing processes, pain points, and areas for improvement in appointment management. Engaging with clinic administrators to front desk receptionists provided insights into various perspectives within healthcare.
By understanding the challenges faced by clinic admins like Shweta and receptionists like Gautam in managing appointments and updating doctor profiles, it's clear that there's a pressing need for a user-friendly solution that streamlines these tasks. Simplifying appointment management and doctor profile editing will not only save time but also reduce errors, ultimately improving efficiency and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Moodboarding was instrumental in shaping Medvisit's design. By compiling visual elements, color schemes, and typography onto a single board, I established a cohesive visual identity aligned with the brand's values. This process facilitated collaboration, communication, and served as a reference point throughout the design journey, ensuring consistency and alignment with project goals.
Medvisit's information architecture ensures easy navigation by organizing key features into clear sections, facilitating efficient task completion for users.

✦ Dashboard : The dashboard provides an overview and easy access to various features, including the number of requests, confirmed, rejected, and attended appointments.
✦ Appointments : Within the appointments section, doctors can view today's requests, all requests, confirmed, rejected, and attended appointments. They can access patient details, appointment dates, and times, and accept or reject requests.
✦ Calendar : The calendar feature is crucial for doctors to manage their schedules and availability. They can create different availability templates, block time slots, or entire days effortlessly.
✦ Ratings & Reviews : Doctors receive ratings and reviews from users on the Medvisit website. The dashboard allows them to accept or reject reviews, which will then be visible on their Medvisit profile.
✦ QnA's : This feature enables users to ask questions directly to doctors, empowering both parties. Doctors have the option to respond to user questions, which will then be displayed on their Medvisit profile.
✦ Profile : The profile feature is essential as it allows doctors to manage their information effectively. They can edit consultation fees, basic information (such as services, qualifications, rewards & recognition), and clinic information. Additionally, they can upload pictures of clinics, doctors, or medical facilities to their Medvisit profile.
✦ Settings : In the settings section, doctors can edit their open hours for appointments and working days, toggle notifications, and change their dashboard password.
